Recently a new security threat has been brought to our attention and we think you should know about it.

The practice of lock bumping is as old as most other lock picking methods and has been used consistently by professionals.  However as a result of the internet the word is out!  Criminals can break into your home with little or no training by using a specially cut standard key. 

We have searched the internet and haven’t found a single reference for a 100% “bump proof” lock.  Call your local locksmith for guidance and investigate this concern for your self. 

Literally between Google and YouTube we found about a dozen “how-to” videos.
